We have to remember these new novels - Outback and Thin Ice - are not written by Desmond Bagley, they are only using a draft character he never actually published, however readers might be interested in this new, on-going series.

Sadly this novel - on first appearances and I've not seen an ARC or proof copy - seems to be aping the famous novel of Bagley - Running Blind. There is a certain cheesiness about the tag-line. Bagley was never so arrogant as to suggest his hero might "save the world".
